Future-focused destination development through disruptive regenerative principles
EEVA is redefining destination development through a disruptive regenerative approach that integrates land, capital, community, and climate into a unified, value-generating system. Unlike traditional models that focus on extraction or short-term gains, EEVA applies regenerative principles—grounded in systems thinking, long-term stewardship, and resilient infrastructure—to deliver places that restore ecosystems, empower local communities, and offer durable returns. In a rapidly changing climate and economic landscape, regenerative development isn’t a trend—it’s a necessity.
The Real Meaning of Giving Back
Stewardship Initiatives
Community Land Association
EEVA’s long-term vision includes transitioning land ownership into a locally governed community land association. This model gives residents a real stake in the development and future of Pavones. It ensures that the land is protected, and that the benefits of tourism stay rooted in the community.
Education & Training
EEVA will offer training programs in regenerative land management, sustainable tourism, and hospitality skills tailored to local needs. These programs aim to equip residents with tools to build long-term careers—not just seasonal jobs. Education is central to creating a development model that is inclusive and self-sustaining.
Community Incubator
A small incubator space will support local entrepreneurs in eco-tourism, wellness, food production, and craft industries. Through mentorship, microgrants, and visibility, EEVA will help build a more diverse and resilient local economy. The goal is to support local talent in creating businesses that align with the region’s values and ecology.
Conservation & Restoration
The property will support active conservation and habitat restoration across the surrounding coastal and jungle ecosystems. Native species planting, erosion control, and marine protection will be integrated into daily operations and land management. These efforts help preserve Pavones as an ecological treasure.
Research Hub
A dedicated research outpost will host scientists, conservationists, and students studying the unique ecosystems of the Golfo Dulce region. The station will provide data that informs better environmental management across the region. It will also serve as an educational resource for guests and locals alike.
Surf Equity Program
Surfing is at the heart of Pavones, yet access to gear, coaching, and career pathways is often limited for local youth. EEVA’s surf equity program will provide boards, training, and mentorship to build local talent in surf culture and industry. It’s a way to keep the surf economy inclusive and rooted in the community that has lived alongside the wave for generations.
